Hair
Beloved, I said,
when I awoke,
Are you afraid
of the hair from my body?
We were sleeping
feet to face, like shoes
in a box, semi-curled,
facing each other. –Yes
you said, but I was
unconvinced.
The hair is like
peaches, I said,
if you put it near
your mouth.
