I am looking
at wooden crosses
so old
that nothing
is written
un them anymore,
there are
huge stacks
of crosses
here,
there are
crosses leaning
against
fine marble
tombs,
there are
crosses thrown
into the
trees,
there are
a dozen crosses
sticking on
the same
grave.
