Kingdom Come
The world
has a magic direction
in the twilight.
It is a place of spells
and visions.
Look out of the window.
Do you see the old woman
with the plum tree
on her back?
She is walking
up Hyde Street.
She appears to be lost
and I think she is crying.
A taxi
comes along.
She stops the taxi
and gets in
with the plum tree.
She is
gone now
and the evening star
shines in the sky.
