My Ivory Tower
My ivory tower
overlooks
a slaughterhouse
where hogs
scream and scream
because
they do not like
to have their
throats cut.
My ivory tower
overlooks
a little girl
who ahs a toothbrush
that she calls
Marty,
and loves.
